Twelve women working hard to achieve their goals recognised at the Landsdowne Club, Mayfair.
At Talking Drums, we strive to provide the best experience for our guests. As such we are constantly striving to learn from the best.
I had the pleasure of being invited to The Landsdowne Club by Sabrina Williams MBE and Medina Williamson (Head of Sales, Landsdowne Club) to their Ladies Wellbeing Dinner. This amazing event brought together 12 wonderful women who are working hard to achieve their goals and I am delighted to have been recognised as one of the 12!
We were welcomed with opening remarks by the CEO and Club Secretary, David Herbert, who shared the rich history of the Landsdowne Club, including that it used to be the British Prime Minister’s Office, that American Independence was negotiated there, and that it was the first private members club in the U.K. to allow women. As a proud historian, I was in my element!
Later we were treated to a tour of the historic building and its extensive facilities, and an incredible four-course meal by Executive Head Chef, Henry Brosi (pictures below!)
We also had a fruitful discussion, and it was wonderful to share our experiences, learn from each other, and champion each other!
Lastly, we were all presented with flowers and gifts and the incredible AoibhÃn O'Shea (Marketing Manager, the Lansdowne Club) who saw my delight at the historical lesson we were having also gave me an amazing book on the history of the Lansdowne Club building. A special and thoughtful gesture.
The experience was simply phenomenal and a testament to providing guests with the best experience. I look forward to returning soon and highly recommend the Lansdowne Club for membership, events, activities and experiences!
Thank you again Sabrina and Medina!
