Fast forward a few more years, and the game has evolved (substantially!) into a dedicated league - the Basketball Africa League (BAL) with the Sahara Conference hosted in Dakar, Senegal🇸🇳; the Nile Conference in Cairo, Egypt🇪🇬; and finals in Kigali, Rwanda 🇷🇼.
