Arusha, Tanzania 🇹🇿, a green gem 🌴 🌳 🌿
Arusha is one of my favourite places in Tanzania, due to its beauty, lush greenness, and how it is filled with hidden gems like Mfere Waterfall and Lake Duluti (pictured below), a former volcanic crater.

At Talking Drums, we work with local and Diaspora businesses and entrepreneurs - the best Ambassadors for any country. Here, I visited the Lake with Ngoramo, a local guide and proud resident of Arusha, who shared its unique history and details on the surrounding wildlife.

Many make a quick stop in Arusha on their way to Safari on the Northern Circuit, which is home to some of the world's most famous Safari Parks including The Serengeti and The Ngorongoro Crater.

But in my experience Arusha deserves much more time - time to explore its beauty and hidden gems, or simply to be still to take in its greenery, its mountainous landscape and its cool climate.
