My experience so far summed up in 5 words - vibes, passion, unity, navigation, and opportunities.
Truly one of - if not THE - best sporting tournament in the World, is the biggest international men's soccer tournament in Africa, showcasing top African talent (both playing across Africa and in leagues in Europe and the Middle East), and attracting global attention. Taking place every two years, AFCON brings together the best national teams to compete for the trophy and title of African Champions.
This year’s tournament is hosted in Morocco across six cities: Rabat (the capital), Tangier, Marrakech, Fes, Agadir and Casablanca., with the majority of matches, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies, in Rabat.
With a continent of 54 countries, over 1.2 billion people, and with football as the number 1 sport in Africa, AFCON is the biggest tournament in Africa and this edition has the potential to be the biggest to date for a number of reasons:

This year’s tournament takes place across Morocco - the no.1 most visited country in Africa annually with an average of 17.4million visitors.
Following the success of the 2023 tournament, the 2025 tournament is projected to be the biggest yet.
AFCON has a global reach. Its representative football confederation, Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) has 5 million+ followers on Instagram, 11.4 million followers on TikTok 2.3million subscribers on YouTube, and 51k followers on Linkedin. CAF estimates over 2 billion people watched the 2023 tournament.
There is a growing demand for the development and delivery of high quality content for AFCON. This was amplified by the 2.7 billion social media impressions for the hashtag #AFCON2023 at the last tournament.
